Floyd burned a lot of bridges in a hurry the other day. He basically said he can't wait to retire, so I wouldn't mind dumping him if his heart isn't in it. He can DH in the AL - what he supposedly wants anyway. The Mets want Benson long-term, so this isn't really a move about 2004.
