As far as Zambrano goes... he started the year at RP, and he had quite a few good outings, before slumping a little. He filled in in an emergency role when some of the Cubs' pitchers were hurting, and was very shaky in his first couple starts. He's bounced back a little, and I would expect him to be a decent pitcher, but I doubt he'll be anything like a starting fantasy pitcher, except in very deep leagues. Also, if I'm the Cubs, I want this guy in the bullpen. He doesn't have a whole lot of pitches, or a whole lot of experience, but he does pretty well in middle relief.
