Junior Spivey that is (not Griffey).

I had hopes for a breakout season from Spivey, and then had hopes he would be traded to the Yankees. BUT, all that is over now that he has decided to have season ending surgery this Friday on his left shoulder. He will rehab for four to six months. He is eligible for salary arbitration in the offseason, he probably will be back with the Brewers next year.
Kinda funny that both Sexson and Spivey are out with similar left shoulder injuries, and they were both involved in the same trade.

I was fooled by the title too, but kinda happy. I was so sick of people insisting Griffey was back to his past self, and pretty relieved when he got hurt. I always knew it was only a matter of time before Griffey got hurt again.
And oh yeah, Spivey.
I thought he had breakout potential too, I can't say he really did to much this season. Well, there is always next year...
