My league has a inning pitched limit of 1320 for the whole season. Right now I'm projected to be about 130 innings over. I don't know what to do to bring it down.
My staff is:
Roy Oswalt
Johan Santana
Carlos Zambrano
Matt Morris
Brandon Webb
AJ Burnett
John Smoltz
Trevor Hoffman
Ugueth Urbina
Brad Lidge
Tom Gordon
I haven't played Burnett or Webb for about a month. I always play Zambrano, Oswalt and Santana, and usually Morris, though I benched him last time when he threw a CGSO .
Who should I look to bench to bring down this total?
Looks like you have to cut 13 innings a week! Only pick the very best matchups from here on out. You could try to trade a SP for a solid middle reliever who will keep the innings count down while giving you nice ratio.
keep oswalt, zambrano and santana....look to move the other 3 starters(aj, morris, and webb) for some middle innings high ratio pitchers..or either for some offensive help in your lineup....the 3 remaining starters with your relievers should get u about right by september.....u might can trade aj or morris to a team that is looking some pitching but expect to have to waive webb....
Let me also point out that I'm not the only person in my league with these troubles. One kid is projected to go over 200 innings. Then a few more are hovering around 100 and below with only 1 or 2 actually at or below the limit.

Yep, the 2nd half weardown has started. Maybe you could trade 2 semi-studs for one real stud. For example, Zambrano and Morris for Schmidt after his poor outting last night? Just a thought.
