Do not draft before round 8 in a 12 team league.

The Cafe largely supported Santana going into this season. I had a lot of trouble finding many folks who were against him. Zito is God avidly preached his distaste for Santana. New Zealand Fan was a little more mild.

I wished I had picked up either of them, both have been amazing. Fantasy sites last year were hyping Santana when he made his entrance last year

Thinking that Santana was gonna make a comeback was pretty much a given not only in this site but in all my leagues. I tried getting him during the bad streak and none of the teams would part with him even when i offered more than his value at the time.

I was able to trade Schilling (during ankle problems) for Santana and Mussina. Funny thing is, even without Mussina being a factor, that trade still helped me. Santana has easily outpitched Schilling since then.

mazel tov. ;-D

Santana has been utterly dominant in the last 2 months. Blue chipper to the fullest.

A cy young is in his future, and after some of the older gentleman fade away from the fantasy scopes (i.e RJ, Schilling, KB, and Moose) he will take his place with Prior, Wood and other's as the game's elite.

Heck, he's probably already there.

In my midseason predictions thread which is somewhere around here, I picked Santana as the AL Cy Young. ;-)

It's nice to be right every once in a while. :-)
