Is it me or is it really not that exciting?I think E.S.P.N is ruining the world series of poker this year by changing the usual format we became used to throughout the years.I dont need to see 7 card stud I dont need to see Annie Duke & the rest of the WSOP losers play "BLIND HOLDEM"JUST SHOW HOLDEM.thats it nothing more nothing less.Just because its been getting great ratings the last couple of years that doesnt mean you have to change it.If it aint broke dont fix it.
i totally agree lenny Espn is trying to promote other poker games to since hold em had so much success on the tube but they dont realize they just need to stick with hold em thats what everyone watches and thats what everyone wants they dont need to change the whole thing it is fine the way it is

I know I never never never shut off a holdem match but tonight I had to change the channel. It's boring.Actually i lied I shut off the god for saken celebrity poker on bravo.
I admit that 7 card stud and Omaha isn't as exciting as Hold 'Em, but personally, I enjoy watching all of it. If things work out, I'll be entered into the main event next year and maybe a few of the smaller ones.
Anyway, ESPN is trying to capitalize on the boom in the poker world right now. I don't blame them at all for that. I have a few friends who can't stand Stud or Omaha, so you are not alone by not liking to see it on tv.
Celebrity poker is so-so. Some of them know how to play and some of them are truely clueless about the game. Sometimes it's very funny to watch and others it's unbelieveably boring. I've got a mixed opinion on it myslef.

Very slow. Let them come to me since I have the *nuts*. Milk them for all they are worth and once the river card comes out, I put them all in since they cannot win the hand.
*For all you perverts out there, in poker "having the nuts" means you have the best hand and cannot be beaten.
