I'm sure lots of people in the cafe know the Beat The Streak fantasy game on another website, where you have to try and get a streak of hits going.

Thought it might give you all a laugh to have a look at my attempts to get a good streak going. Here's my record over the last 7 days... :-o

7/26/04 Marcus Giles Braves Pirates 0 for 4
7/25/04 Carl Crawford Devil Rays Blue Jays 0 for 5
7/24/04 Carlos Beltran Astros Brewers 0 for 3
7/23/04 Derek Jeter Yankees Red Sox 0 for 5
7/22/04 Paul Konerko White Sox Indians 0 for 4
7/21/04 David Ortiz Red Sox Orioles 0 for 3
7/20/04 Vladimir Guerrero Angels Indians 0 for 4

I sure know how to pick 'em! Maybe I should try to get the longest streak of 0-fors going! :-D

Hahaha.

I played that game last year and kept topping out in the mid to lower 20's. Frustrating game it is, but yet still fun. I took this year off from it though.
