Do they go with the Washington Senators as their name? I think that would be fitting. What do you think? Should they go as the Senators or choose a new nickname? Or should the keep the Expos?

I'm still somewhat partial to the Washington Blue Legs. I don't see a scenario where they keep the Expos name. Hopefully they will use a name besides the Senators, I never really cared for it too much. The bad ESPN puns would be unbearable.

Whats with the Washington Redskins? That is practically the most offensive name in any professional sports and its in our nations capitol?

Maybe Senators 3.0 to be in line with the dot.com era? :-D

New! Upgraded!

Then again, version 1.0 featured Walter Johnson, and version 2.0 came complete with Frank Howard. Maybe 'upgraded' isn't the right word... :-?

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

I say whoever wins the election gets the team name. IE The Washington Kerrys, the Washington Bushes, the Washington Naders...
