I might be totally wrong, but I can't see him as part of any package with Pittsburgh simply because he makes/will make too much money. I would think that the Pirates would want cheaper "ready for the bigs" talent.

I think he might wind up in Boston who is looking desperately for a defensive presence at 1B.
