You can join various leagues in the classified section, but a lot of those are people who aren't regulars here at the cafe.

so how do you get invited do you have to be a regular or is there other requirements cuz that would be awesome to be in a league at the cafe

I never really thought about it before but it would be really cool to be in a league with the regulars around here. I am assuming one is just invited after they have proved themselves worthy and have been here a while. If there are any daring feats or tests of worthiness I would be more than willing to prove myself to jon a league next year....

Just keep your eyes open........ a lot of times leagues will open up and be looking for owners. Or you might get a PM asking if you want to join a certain league. And don't wait til March to start looking..... a lot of leagues form only a couple months after the World Series.

You could also try to start a league yourself. If you get a few regulars to join, more will follow...

The easiest way is to figure out what type of league (roto, h2h, points), roster size, league size, etc. Basically get all the details together and then make a post in the classifieds or just extend invitations to the members you want to play with via pm.

Does anyone play in money leagues here? I love fantasy baseball, but it's much more fun when there is at least something to play for (besides pride). Heck, I dedicate enough time to it that I almost HAVE to play for money, in case I get fired from my job for doing research . I'm not talking about $1,000 dollars or anything. There is only a $50 entry fee in my favorite league.
