Philies Ryan Howard(1B)..has been mentioned//he is stuck behind Thome @ 1st...he doesnt play anywhere else...has almost 40 HR's already in Scranton..although a bud of mine has seen him live and said he reminds him of of Mo Vaughn(the later day Mo Donuts Vaughn)..still cant argue with the #'s....thought there was a Tampa rumor for Baldeli or Crawford floating around with Philly

Tampa will not trade Carl Crawford. Hes a huge part of the improvement and has to be untouchable on that team. Plus I think hes only what, 23? Maybe 22?

so tampa can play Crawford,Baldelli, Gaithright and Delmon Young all at once?..if they can get at top notch SP prospect(philly has 3 in Hamels,Floyd.and Madson) theyd traade 1 away

They would probably trade either gathright or baldelli, you dont need 3 speedsters in one place. Huff and Young should be enough power, and you can get some good pitching for the aforementioned 2. Wheres Hybrid? Hes really up on his prospects and he should know since hes a Dray fan im assuming from the avatar.

Delmon Young is two years away and Gathright isn't ready to be an everyday OF. I would be shocked if they move either Crawford or Baldelli.

i think in the offseason the rays said they would be open to moving crawford for a starting pitcher. that might have just been a gammons rumor so dont quote me on that.

Rumors have had Crawford to Philly in the past here. Crawford's not only developed into the best leadoff guy in the game, but quickly into one of the better players in the game today.
Baldelli's more likely to be dealt, but I think the only way he goes is in some deal involving Hamels/Floyd/Myers.
If they don't get that, I'd wouldn't hesitant to have a Crawford/Baldelli/Gathright/Young rotation at OF (other playing DH) or moving Young to 1B (though I think in the end they ought to put Huff there).
I think one (or more) of the Angels' prospects will head out for the Unit.
