Jose Vidro is out of the lineup again tonight. I am guessing he might be out for the series because they are playing at Olympic Stadium, and they wont want to risk hurting his knee on the artificial turf.

Any news on him sitting? Resting his knee (again

) or did something else happen?

I wish they'd just put him on the DL and give him two weeks off to rest up. It's not like they're playing for anything now anyway.
In case you can't tell, I have Vidro and I can't replace him unless he goes on the DL (and Bellhorn is available).
Roger Angell: I was talking with Bob Gibson and I said: 'Are you always this competitive?' He said: 'Oh, I think so. I got a three-year old daughter, and I've played about 500 games of tic-tac-toe with her and she hasn't beat me yet.'

Vidro was doing pretty damn good before all the injury bull$hit. Does anyone know when he is coming back?

I just found this on the Expos website. Looks like he has a hamstring problem too I guess. I doubt he will play tomorrow, but you never know.
Injury report: Jose Vidro did not play in Saturday's game because of a tight right hamstring. He is listed as day-to-day.
Vidro suffered the injury during Friday's game against the Marlins. He played the entire game and went 1-for-4, and drove in the go-ahead run in the fifth inning.

I bet he wouldn't be "out" if the Expos were still in this. Anyone read the article in the latest ESPN Mag about "jaking?"
