Note to Beezer...while I disagree with you on Buck's handling of the Texas OF, which I think is fine, I at least will agree that Mench should be swinging the DH bat instead of Fullmer...who is completely useless at this point.

Rotoworld reported yesterday that Fullmer could be released if nobody shows an interest by the trading deadline.

I understand that Showalter may have better options vs. righties but Mench has got to at least get a chance vs. righties. He is now sitting vs. righties a lot now. He is hitting .318 with 6 HR's in 48 at-bats this month. I completely agree with you thehat that Mench would be good in the DH spot since he is not winning any gold gloves any time soon. But, I just read that the Rangers may be interested in Larry Walker at the DH spot. Hey, how about some pitching??? The last thing they need is ANOTHER outfielder!! Especially one who gets hurt as much as he does!!

Nice brawl today in the Sox/Yanks game. Gotta love it!
