Looks like he's going to miss some more time. His shoulder, this time.

I expected his groin injury to linger.
I hope this soreness is nothing more than just that. :-t

Bummer doesn't sound like he'll be out long enough to make Worrell a valid option :-t

I really can't afford to lose him for any length of time. The month he was out destroyed me in the saves catagory.
I'm a firm believer in the philosophy of a ruling class... especially since I rule.

Wagner said the injury occurred Wednesday, when we worked 1 1-3 innings against Florida and earned his 16th save. He tested the arm in a pregame catch Friday, but said it felt sore.

What was Bowa thinking...throwing him for a inning and a third.....Jeez, just think if he had Dusty for a manager.... ;-7

Here is the latest from Rotoworld:

Billy Wagner said he can't rule out a possible DL stint due to his strained left shoulder.
He and the Phillies will know more Monday when Wagner tests his shoulder in a bullpen session. ''If I don't have to go on the DL, I won't. But you also can't rule it out,'' he said. Jul. 25 - 7:50 am et

Anyone here thinking about adding Worrell? It sounds to me like Wagner will hit DL, and Worrell might have some good value for a while. Thoughts?

Had room to add him in one of my leagues and did so. If he does fill in for a while he's money.

No one else is concerned about Wagner and considering adding Worrell? I probably will be dropping Wickman for Worrell soon.

My $$$ league uses holds as a catagory. Worrell was drafted and kept by the team I face this week. As a Wagner owner it's a double edged sword.

In my h2h weekly league I benched Wagner and put W. Alverez in RP slot. He has been pitching well for me and since I was facing save duo of Rivera and Nathan this week ill concede saves.
