sorry, this is just stupid. how they express their "emotion and passion" is totally different. if you cant see that, u have never seen jose lima pitch or you are simply lying to yourself. jose lima is like a little kid out there, jumping for joy, cheerleading his team, etc. zambrano gives up a homerun, cries about it, and hits the next batter out of frustration.

Lima and Zambrano are different...

Lima, like said above, loves the game as much as any other guy in baseball. He expresses his passion in a positive manner and attitude...

Now Zambrano is just as passionate, but he can also get riled up negatively much more than Lima does. He starts plunking guys, screaming at them, etc.

It's different, but I'm not going to say that C-Zam's is bad...I mean, I have defended Milton Bradley through all of his incidents...I clearly stated that he has true passion for the game, just like Lima, Tejada, etc.

And the autograph thing is a different story, CubFan...it shows that he's a good guy overall...that's it, whether you like to get autographs or not.

Woah woah I never said theres anything wrong with kids gettin autographs. Its a great experience, like I said it was a very nice experience when I got Kerry Woods autograph when I was about 9. I just dont like it when adults bother an athlete to sign 20 of their baseball cards so they can sell it for a profit. Jose Lima is obviously a great guy who loves the game. Now whether hes a good pitcher or not :-b is another story. And yes, Zambrano needs to learn to harness his passion into something on the field rather than volcanic explosiveness. Was Lima like Zambrano in his younger days? I know Zambrano is just 23, so he will probably learn with experience.
