wow, your team looks pretty good for a fantasy baseball newbie.

I guess this is Sandlot scoring, right?
My first advise is about catching: I believ you have two slots, but still only 162 games to fill! So dont start Marrero right now...jleave this slot empty, and put only in Lieberthal. The way marrero is playing (if he plays...he is sitting at the bench a lot) doesnt do any good for your team, and you will fill the 162 games way too lot that way. So just start Lieberthal, and consider starting Marrero ony, if he gets hot sometime!

Rest looks really pretty good, although you may be able to pack WOmack with Dreifort or Pettite to get a better SS. YOur SP is filled with such good guys, you can easily afford losing one of those guys.

By the way, I don't know what Sandlot scoring is, but the way our league is setup, if there are 2 catcher positions then the # of games goes up too, the max on catcher position is 324 games, enough for 162 games x 2 catchers. Same deal for the Util position. Pitchers have a max of 1250 innings. Here are the stats for our league:
Maximums Per Position
Position - Games/Innings Used - Remaining - Projected -Maximum
C 37 287 307 (-17) 324
1B 23 139 158 (-4) 162
2B 24 138 159 (-3) 162
3B 20 142 155 (-7) 162
SS 21 141 156 (-6) 162
OF 73 413 478 (-8) 486
Util 46 278 316 (-8) 324
Pitchers 215.2 1034.1 1259.1 (+9.1) 1250
Each non-pitching spot on your roster (not each player) allows for a maximum number of games played, while your entire pitching staff has a total inning limit.
This table shows you how many of each you have used, how many you have remaining, your projected pace, and the maximum allowed.

Once you exceed the maximum number, you will no longer accumulate stats for the position.

wow, you done a couple of nice deals there, obviously.
Especially the upgrade at SS was really a nice deal!
(just for curiosity, which are the details of that trade?)

@scoring: oh, if you have more innings, then forget my tip...in sandbox, which is a common type of free fantasy baseball, you have 2 catcher slots, but only 162 games to fill, so it happens all the time, that when you start 2 Cs, you have reached the max games around end of july...

Hehe, getting Nomar is the deal I am most proud of so far, a major coup. Most of the guys in our league are fairly new, Guy A. desperately needed pitching and had a thing for R. Wolf. The owner who had Wolf (Guy B.) wouldn't deal at all. Guy B. had a thing for Washburn, so I sweet talked him out of B. Abreu and R. Wolf, then traded R. Wolf for Nomar straight up with Guy A. I am good on pitching from my draft, so I come out ahead with a great SS and OF. Surprised it wasn't vetoed, but no one had a problem once they verified that it was ok with Guy A.

See any other areas I am weak at? I would like to try to get another 1B, not sure what I can put together.

I should also say that Guy A. who owned Nomar also had Arod, so it wasn't too much of a hit for him to trade a SS.
