Maggs said he was ready... cant blame guillen entirely

Yeah, and Pedro could have gone 12 innings. At some point you just have to make decisions for yourself instead of letting the players make the call.

I agree 100%.

Here you go.

From Rotoworld:

Magglio Ordoñez Latest News Jul. 23, 2004 - 5:41 pm et

White Sox placed outfielder Magglio Ordonez on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to Thursday, with bone marrow edema in his left knee.
Ordonez could be out for two months or even the rest of the season with a retention of fluid in the bone marrow of his left knee. He will be on crutches for four-to-eight weeks, with only a swimming exercise regimen. If doctors determine that he's made progress after four weeks, maybe he'll return on Sept. 1. If not, he might be done for the year. As a result, the White Sox may be in the market for another bat even after adding Carl Everett.

This sucks, I traded for him and I only got to use him for 2 weeks. :-t

I offered Posada & castilla for him 3 weeks ago. I'm glad he declined.

Postby Krunk City King$ » Fri Jul 23, 2004 6:06 pm

kudos to the person who started this thread and to the others that posted in it.

i had the maggs owner sitting right next to me and when the news broke we could not find it anywhere except on an espn white sox message board.

this has been the best week that i have seen on this board that relates to breaking news and call up announcements. and i think that this is the 3rd item to break here before it became a national story...

as many have said before me...

keep up the good work fellas!!

;-D ;-D ;-D ;-D = 4 thumbs up!
