that said, that movie was great. better than spiderman 2, imo. my favorite part was the color guy. some of his lines were just gold.
oh, and all of the celebrety cameos were great.
but yeah. right now i'm sying dodgeball was the best movie of the summer.
I agree with that! Best movies I've seen so far this summer. That part where he was pumpin up his manhood was pretty funny. Best Quote that I can remember was the one they showed in some of the previews on TV. "Nobody makes me bleed my own blood..Nobody!" I was pretty much laughing throughout that whole movie.
To get the Joanie Loves Chaci thing, you would have either had to see the bad TV show or seen the Family Guy were they were watching TV bloopers and they went to a Joanie Loves Chaci blooper where a bear comes through the wall and starts eating Chaci.
I'll have to disagree with the majority here and say Dodgeball wasn't that great. To me, it was a ripoff of Baseketball which I thought to be funnier and more original.
Ben Stiller is a very funny guy, but he never met a script he didn't like. How many more Ben Stiller movies can we see before we get tired of him? Just in the last year...
Dodgeball
Along Came Polly
Starsky and Hutch
Duplex
Envy
and coming later this Christmas... Meet the Fokkers
Was actually dissappointed over the movie. Still liked it, however was expecting something to the level of Old School or even American Pie. I found myself not laguhing alot as the previews stole a lot of my laughs. IE the wrench scene made me pee in my pants the first 400 times I saw it however time 401 in the threature was uneventful. I agree with the previous poster that Baseketball was better. Good movie but was tampered by overpreviews if that makes sense
Anchorman is far and above the better movie, although Dodgeball was Stiller's best performance yet, about the only thing I've ever liked him in. Still, the flute solo and the fight scene in Anchorman were enough to make my sides hurt considerably.

Yeah, Stiller is in every movie, even in Anchorman (the fight scene). I liked Anchorman better, since they didn't have ALL their funny lines in the previews, like Dodgeball did. Still, both were good for some laughs.
Personally, my favorite Stiller performances are in Heavyweights and Meet the Parents. In MtP, I don't think you could have got a better actor to do the part of the boyfriend visiting the girlfriend's parents. There are soo many awkward scenes, and Stiller makes them all believable and hilarious.
