I know this might be a tough one, but for all you historians out there;

Who invented bunting?

I dont know...but I'll guess anyways. First guy I know of to have done it was Tim Murnane who played for the Boston Red Stockings back in the day. Only reason I know he did it is cuz he called it "butting", and I found that humorous. oh yeah...and btw, this was back when they used flat-sided bats, so this was a long time ago.
