Manny's the worst LF in all of baseball. i cheer whenever he catches a ball without dropping it.
but being the best hitter in the AL makes up for it i think....

Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.

LOL man that catch had me cracking up. It might have been one of the best catches of his career, unfortunatly he cost the sox and Pedro a run. Darn funny though!

I'm sure the Great Bambino must have had something to do with this.
Babe: (Whispering to Manny) "Manny: Johnny is throwing you the ball. Go dive for it like a mad man!"
Manny: "Yes, master."
(Manny dives into oblivion)

For somebody who would seriously win a lot of games with only one other player on his team (hell even if it was only JR Bremer or something) if he could shoot 75% from the line, he's horrible. There MUST be a way to get him to shoot above 55%. He gets $28M a season and they can't teach him to shoot a ball?!?!?!?!?
shaq brought in 3 championships. i'm not mad at him.

So now the question remains: who has more anti-highlights, ManRam or Harvey? Baseball tonight was actually giving out the "Ken Harvey awards" one night this week.
I'll never forget Sweeney being pegged in the back while he stood on 1st base.

I think Boston's thug factor is just too high. It's not thug to field balls or play sound defense. Manny and Ortiz don't even know they play baseball... they just like crushing things.
