I read that he used to take BP at Tiger Stadium and was hitting upper deck shots...at the AGE OF 12!
Can anyone confirm this? I don't remember this. I'm sure a 12 year old hitting upper deck shots woud have been at least minor news on ESPN or something.

Im here to confirm that. He was taking batting practice with his old man, and was parking them in the stands.

Yep, I remember that too. I was like "wow, Cecil's little kid can hit homeruns already

" and now look where it's taken him...... that's kinda cool. And I still probably couln't hit one out of thre park in a MLB stadium

Yeah he was already almost as big as his dad back then.
