I have someone making me a sig for the football forum, but i thought i might try to make my own baseball one. I read that it was easiest to use adobe photoshop. but i didnt realize that it was like a $70 program.
Are there places to get it cheaper. Or like an older version that will work. I don't really want to spend all that much on it.

You could always download Paint Shop Pro and get a free 60-day trial. If you can't make your sig in 60 days you need to give up.
Don't want to preach but software piracy hurts REAL people. You're not stealing from the man, you're stealing from hard-working men and women who have children and mortgages and have to mow their lawns on Saturday.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
i may download the free trial, but just wondering if it is easy to learn. i'm not the most computer savy person around, so would i be able to get the hang of it easy? does it have a good help system?

I am computer-savy and those "art" programs give me the chills.

Check out http://www.good-tutorials.com if you download it. I learned a lot of the basic effects that I've used on sigs from there.
