I don't think I could be more frustrated with the Cubs right now. If their pitching holds up the bats are flailing. If the bats heat up, their pitching sucks (bullpen). Now they're 10 games out. Hendry better be making some deals for possibly another bat but also to get some better arms in the bullpen. It looks like Clement is on pace to win the Kerry Wood Trophy this year, which honors the Cub pitcher that pitches his arse off, yet gets no run support when he does. Seriously, how do you have a 2.98 ERA yet your record is 7-9?

I am with you ironman....I am really getting fed up with this...but I don't know which is the more pressing issue...a bat, or an arm.... :-o

both urbina and mesa are on the block and gettting one of them would help there pen a lot. also if they could trade for garciapaerra or cabrera that would bring another bat.
