I just traded Winn to get Dreifort for holds. And now one of my closers is back as a setup man
Oh well, I have a lot of ground to make up in holds and I'm first in saves. This might actually be good news since Riske seems to be better when he doesn't have the closer role pressuring him... I hope
Not that I think Wickman will be very effective though. He's been out so long and even way back when, he wasn't that great. He's really only had one good season anyway.
I'll disregard his current horrible stats since he's been out a while but I don't see him being a good closer at all.

GrimZ...I could buy you a six-pack right now. This info was yet to be seen in any of the "notes" sites, as I write this.(RotoTimes, etc.)Probably will be noticed by them tomorrow. TOO LATE. This is fantasybaseballcafe where the info IS now!!!
He was available in the 3 leagues with teams I have. GOT HIM!!!
Big-time Thanks.
geez i picked up wickman a couple weeks back cuz i had no closer in a 20 man league but i had no clue i would wind up with graves and guardado in trades geez o well went from 0 to 3 closers in about a week

Hello Wickman. You can't be any worse than Riske, right?
Lol.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

Hope you're right. I need him to get holds and solid K/9 a lot more than I need 4.8 ERA saves.
Screw Wickman, screw Riske, I'm done with Cleveland closers for this year. I'll go with Rafael Soriano instead. That gives me five pitchers healthy and five on the DL.

I'm with you guys. I'm in a holds league and Riske was dominant in that role before moving to closer and suddenly getting pounded (again). I'll give him a week or two to see if he gets back to low-ERA, high-K form. If not, well, I've got plenty of guys on a watch list.
