Surprised not to see any topics on Hudson's injury and when he will return...
In case anyone is wondering he has made some major progress and actually threw some pitches the other day....A's are going to be cautious with him but a return for the Yankee's series (Aug 4-6 I believe) would probably be the latest he would return. The sooner the better, I need him back in my rotation!!

This is what CBS had on him..
Tim Hudson, SP OAK
News: The San Jose Mercury News reports that Hudson (strained left oblique) threw about 35 pitches from the edge of the bullpen mound Monday. He was not expected to have such a session until later in the week. "He came in, and his words were, 'I feel golden,'" said trainer Larry Davis. "So I told him we'll do something that's a little more aggressive if you feel that good."
Analysis: Hudson will throw from halfway up the mound Thursday. He might throw a bullpen session this weekend. "It felt good," he said. He should be back in the rotation at the end of the month, although he could return as a reliever until he gets his arm strength back.
I could use him back to..Let it rip Huddy!
