I am close to trading for him, and just wanted to get a sense of to what extent his triceps and other injury problems are behind him. How great is the injury risk for the rest of the season?

He's looked good since coming back so hopefully his injury problems are over. But you never know with Dusty, just hope he doesn't get overused.

I'd also be VERY concerned re the Cubs' complete lack of offense these days. Very hard to W when you are not getting much support.

I'd like to think that it's just a slump but getting Alex Gonzalez back this week has not quite had the same vibe as the 'Nomar's coming' rumors last week!!

Well wood has never won many games anyway so I dont really consider that to be of much value right now. But becides the wins i think his other cat. will be great ;-D

Well, the cubs spotted Rusch 8 runs by the 3rd inning today, so they could score without a problem. I just traded edmonds and dunn for Wood and couldn't be happier!!
