Pujols: Another Cardinals' hand injury...

Folks, I am sitting here at home in St. Louis watching the Cardinals' game. And I'm going to even predict how bad this injury is. But Albert Pujols just got clocked in the hand by Curtis Leskanic. All I know is that it didn't look or sound good. He came out of the game immediately. If you own Albert, you better monitor this situation. The way he got hit, I would be surprised if he didn't miss any time.

FYI, Another reason not to try and predict injuries. A healthy player like Giles or Pujols can go down at any time.

i own pujols in both my leagues and would be in a world of hurt should he miss signifigant time. if anyone has info on this injury please post for the rest of us. thanks

Good news for Cardinals' nation! X-Rays on Pujols' thumb (apparently, it was his thumb, not his hand) were negative. So he is listed as day-to-day.

Bonzo -- figured I'd point out what is probably obvious and state that you can't drop any of 'em. Gotta suck it up and carry them on your roster, even if you don't have a DL slot for them. Wouldn't be pretty, I know.
