anyone noticing rios right now..? he was 4-4 yesterday and is 2-2 tonight so far..
i think he got his avg. over 300... it will be hard to not want this guy if he keep hitting like this. yes, he hasnt hit a hr yet but. the power will come.. he's showing he can handle big league pitching finaly...
I'm surprised so many people are saying Upton, since this is for next season. He's only 19, I think many of those other guys will do a lot better than him.
Of those guys I'd say Morneau, Rios, and Greinke are the best bets for next season.
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."
I'd say the top 3 are Upton, Morneau, and Greinke. Rios to me won't get more value till he gets bigger (adds power to his game), and I think that will take more then 1 off-season ... though it should improve next year.
Morneau ... well are the Twins ever going to keep him in the line up for good? Has serious power potential, but as we know 1B is a loaded position so he loses some value.
Greinke is a pretty special kid, if he were on a better team and k'd some more batters he could take the top spot.
Actually Wright is right up there too, not sure how much power he will have in Shea next year though, which is something you rely on for a 3B on your fantasy team.
if you need immediate help it's got to be either morneau or grienke. upton is probablly better for the long run, but for the rest of this season and next, i'd say morneau or grienke would perform best.
