The A's have scored the 9th most runs in the AL.
The A's have allowed the fewest runs in the AL.

The offense is where it always is, average. The pitching is where it always is, winning games.

I was doubting my vote there for a while, but now I know why I thought Texas would come back: they are better! If the bats get hot (and it looks like that is beginning to happen), then I dont think there is much stopping the Rangers, at least in the regular season.

Damn, and to think I was so damn close to playing hookie and going to that game. Like I have said for the last month or so, its going to come down to which of the 3 can beat Seattle, at this point in the seasona series win versus them isn't enough, you must sweep.

Watching Texas sweep my boys wasn't the best of feelings. The worst part was watching Dotel melt down again! Christ we can't catch a break this year in the closer position. I have no fear in my team however. All we got to do is take a couple in Anehiem and then take care of buisness at home. We finish the season at home against Seatle so I don't have too many worries, although letting Texas back into the race was a terrible move. Our starters really need to start comming through, its time.

A's lose, Angels win, Rangers win. Angels and Rangers tied, two games behind the A's.

What a great race this is to watch. :-)
