I'm going to wait until the race is over. That way, I can know for sure and not have Ms. Cleo impersonators trying to tell me why (OMG with Dotel, the As will win 20+ more games...OMG!).

Oakland, because Billyball always finds a way of making a team better in the second half, I fully expect this to be another playoff year for them.

Forget the man crush. I drop what I'm doing to watch Zack Greinke pitch.

I took the A's. They're a great 2nd half team.

I'll go with Oakland. I thought they were done for after Chavez got hurt but they didnt tumble in the standings and now he is back and hitting the ball very well.

Called it preseason on that thread.

Angels, if they land the Unit.

but prolly not... so i'll go with the A's. i told you guys that their offense would actually improve "a little bit". as of right now they're pretty balanced. they obviously have a rotation that has can make it easy for their weakish pen and keep 'em in games every single day. 5 quality starters without any uncertainty. not sure how many teams in all of baseball can say that.

Billy Beane rules. :-D
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.

A's. They are a 2nd half team. Their pitching is amazing and boy with Chavez back they'll kick ass.

I like the Rangers and am rooting for them but I still picked the A's. I am not confident the Ranger's pitching can hold up in the 2nd half. Hopefully they can prove me wrong. ;-D

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

I'm rooting for my Rangers. :-) The kids have a fire lit underneath them, the staff is doing well, and the hitting is just too good to stop.

The Angels are the team that scares me the most. I picked them to win the division preseason.

Okland just doesn't have the hitting in my opinion. I'm quite surprised they have done as well as they have so far. I expected more 1-0, 2-1 type of losses for them.

Seattle=Burnt toast.
