Picked-up K-Rod while Percy was injured. Still have him...waiting. Will Percy go the remainder of year as CL? K-Rod now is just a luxury I cant afford. The ERA/K's are nice but I could use another SP in his place. The ??? is...is Percy healthy enough to finish the year?

I think this is probably Percivals last year, and he really wants to help get the team into the playoffs.

Well, if you can't afford to have K Rod, that's okay. But I think it would it would be a HUGE mistake to just drop him and let someone have him for free. You have to include him in a trade that could get you the starting pitching that you say you are looking for. At least get some value for the best set up man in the AL.

K-Rod is worth more than the typical FA starter (unless your league is really shallow). His K's are very significant, and his other ratios are a plus when weighed vs. the negatives you're likely to get with the FA.

I agree with that statement. In my roto league, I tried to draft what equaled a stud SP with the combo of K-Rod and R. Soriano. Only 1 of them has held up their end of the bargain. :-P

I dunno if it changes anything, but Percival just gave up 3 runs in the top of the 10th...

K rod has more K's than over half my starting pitching on my staff... I think that means my staff sucks, but you still can get good strikeout numbers from the guy... I'd hold onto him.

Those runs were all unearned cuz eckstein booted a ground ball. he wont lose his job over that.

Unearned or not, he still gave up a walk followed by a HR, which brings him up to 5 HR in under 25 innings pitched this season... :-t
