Bucky and Werth

What are everyone's thoughts on these two guys?? Bucky is a big dude and chicks dig the long ball, but, why is he just making it to the bigs at 28?? Also, is Werth gonna keep his starting gig when Encarnacion returns?? Thanks for the help.

Bucky has .240 with power written all over him.

Werth always could hit, has some speed, and is finally staying healthy. He's seizing opportunity right now, and the longer he keeps it up, the more likely Encarnacion gets dealt.

Would you drop Gerut for Bucky?? I play in a 14 team h2h points league, so the avg. won't hurt me too much.

I'm watching Bucky, but Gerut isn't doing too terribly bad, is he?

You really have nothing to lose by dropping Gerut for Bucky. You can be pretty confident that Gerut will not be touched, and if for some reason you wanted him back, you should be able to pick him back up. And Gerut hasnt been anything special lately anyways.

True, Gerut is consistently productive in minor ways so he is a small loss and if Jacobson pans out to be special in the long run you will reap the rewards.

Bucky is the real deal. I'm a die hard M's fan and I can tell you Cleveland's pitchers feared this dude. He doesn't just hit bombs either, he hits for average (.312 in AAA). He barely swings and the ball jumps off his bat like crazy. He reached base like 9 times in a row.

Bucky is a big dude and chicks dig the long ball, but, why is he just making it to the bigs at 28??

He was a National League prospect in the St. Louis system and they had him playing OF. If you've seen him the reason they cut him is self-explanatory. Now he can DH and play 1B, and it shouldn't be a problem.

BTW, on Sunday Elarton threw behind him. He stared the guy down and homered 3 pitches later. Stud.
