I just joined a second half league with my friend and it has an odd format. You have to pick MI, CI, Rotation and OF by team. I already have the Cards CI and the Mets rotation but now I need to pick a MI. So in your opinion, what are the top 5 MI's? I could think of Young and Soriano and that was taken already.

Lets see. Offensively, I would say that the Giles Furcal MI of the braves should be good, Baltimores Tejada and B Roberts/Hairston is a nice combination of speed and power, the Mets with Reyes and Matsui, and I can't really think of anymore. San Diego with Loretta and Green should be too bad.

Adam Everett and Jeff Kent?
yea Loretta and Greene's a good one
or go for the Yankees and hope they trade for a second baseman by the break. Interesting format though, I haven't heard of that before. You should rake in points though, with Rolen and Pujols.

There had to be better rotations then the mets though left. Im guessing that was your 2nd round pick?

Don't laugh, but I think that Miles/Clayton with enough late games at Coors could be spectacular. Hopefully, Infante/Guillen will stay hot. Nomar/Bellhorn?
Blessed are the cheesemakers.

I like the Rangers. Pretty tough but young and risky
