What minor leaguers will excel next year?

Postby Iguana » Sun Jul 18, 2004 2:28 pm

Claussen got called up, and I have an open Farm team spot in my keeper league.

Most of the big names, Kotchman, Upton, Fielder, D.Young etc. are taken.

My other two farm team guys are Kotchman and Mathis.

Jeff Francis is still available, but I don't have a lot of other ideas. I'd like a SB guy if any are out there (Gathright is taken)

Who should I pick up? Suggestions? I want someone who can be an impact player next year.
Help me pick my keepers? viewtopic.php?f=26&t=419885

Jason Kubel for the AAA Twins looks real good, he has a great shot at taking Mauers 2003 Minor leaguer of the year and keeping it in MN. I would guess Resto gets traded and Jones isn't on the team next year and this guy battles with Ford for the last sopt and we all know how fragile Hunter and Stewert are.

Is Felix Hernandez still available. He's an 18 year old pitcher in AA for the Mariners. He's emerging as one of the best pitching prospects. Check out the Minor League board for more info on him and others.
