i heard there could be a possible trade where they give the red sox some minor leaguers for garciaparra

I think that deal was where the Cubs sent prospects to D-Backs, Red Sox sent Garciaparra to the Cubs, D-Backs send RJ to the Red Sox. Although lately it looks like that's not going to happen from what I've read.

That was the deal...but most likely it is not going to happen....Cabrera looks to be the more likely deal....(and I like it better too... :-)

That was the deal...but most likely it is not going to happen....Cabrera looks to be the more likely deal....(and I like it better too... )

I think Cabrera will be a good fit in the 2 hole and will hopefully get this offense rolling. Although i'm hoping the cubs don't have to give up either Pie or Guzman to get him :-o

The last rumor I heard was Gonzo, Sisco and Harvey/Brownlie....I don't think Hendrey will give up either Pie or Guzman.... :-)

Orlando Cabrera is the SS from the Expos that the Cubs might trade for.
Felix Pie is our top OF prospect.
Angel Guzman is arguably our top Pitching Prospect.

Notice I said arguably ;-)

Although on all prospect rankings I've seen Guzman and Brownlie are ahead of Mitre.
