Halladay to the DL?

Postby shortsavage » Sun Jul 18, 2004 1:01 pm

The Jays are now thinking about putting Doc Halladay in the DL again.

Keeper and yearly owners would probably benifit from such a move, as the young ace has been far from an ace this season.

Or daily owners :-) .

Hehe, that is the word that I have been using for single season leagues. Do you know a better one?

Yeah, that is what I saw last night too.

This is what I saw this morning:

Roy Halladay may be headed back to the disabled list.
Halladay is still scheduled to open a two-game series with the Yankees on Wednesday, but there is concern over Halladay's shoulder issues. "No, there's nothing as of yet. We talked to him (Friday) to see how he is, but as of right now, he's still scheduled to make his next start," manager Carlos Tosca said last night. If Halladay's shoulder is bothering him as he has mentioned, the Jays would be better served to preserve their ace right-hander and shut him down until he is fully recovered. We will see if they make the sensible move.
