What the hell is up with him?

So inconsistent... but today a good victory of the Sox.

Something that worries is me is the 5 walks though..

Continue to keep him on the bench?

Colon is just lost this season....he isn't worth thinking about getting a start until he can muster up at least 3 quality outings in a row

I didn't see the game but i saw on replays that he was keepin gthe ball away. IF he stops trying get k everyone then he could rebound and win maybe 7-10 games in the 2nd half. He has the stuff, he just needs to remember when to use it.

Imagine how fat guys like him and Ponson would be if not for baseball to motivate them to stay "healthy". It's ridiculous........

Five walks and one strikeout is not very encouraging.

Colon was lucky tonight. He was hit hard and had his fielders and foul balls bailing him out.

He didntch pitch good bye any means at all. On the brightside he didnt pitch bad and get murdered bye a few bad pitches.

The Angels seem to really believe he has corrected his mechanics, isnt hurt, and will get it together. They are yet to admitt he has benn pitching hurt if he has. That would not be conducive to him hideing an injury as so many people seem to think he has been.

If he really isnt hurt then a little bit of luck like he got tonight might be about all he needs to restore a little confidence and start pitching effectively again. If he looks good his next two starts then I will end his prolonged stay on my bench and start putting him back in my lineup againe.

I'm not that optimistic however. I think he is still hideing an injury and got lucky tonight.

Here is hopeing for the best though ;-D . I really did need him going into this year to pitch considerably better..........................
