whats wrong with this guy? Someone who has seen this guy pitch recently, is he gettin hit around becuz his stuff just isnt the same as it was, or is it simply poor location? How is his velocity? How good is his stuff still? Is he pitching injured or what?

I saw him in person at San Diego a week or so ago.

His stuff still looks great. He was hitting 96-98 on the gun that day. Even hit 99 for one pitch. His curve was 68-70 and sharp.

I think it's obvious what's going on. First, he isn't getting run support. Second, he had defensive bad luck like today. But beyond that, I think it's just a bit of a normal slump... nothing to worry about.

I couldn't agree more His control seems a little off. He is getting the ball up more in the zone than usual......after the defensive blunder he got rattled a bit. He should be fine when all is done.
