They want to give German a chance but this guy jsut couldnt throw strikes in the majors. He did his job in AAA but then you dont need to throw strikes to be effective in the minors. German might get called up if urbina is traded but i'd count on them letting walker close unless German can show he has better control, which I doubt he will.

As long as the Tigers are within hailing distance of the division lead, I can't see them dealing Urbina unless they're offered a big time prospect. I really don't see that happening, so my guess is he stays in Motown, at least until such time as the team's playoff hopes are gone.

Had German not been so miserable in his latest failed audition, Urbina might have been moved already. Gotta figure SF is still a potential landing spot, but now it's less likely.
