I don't what's up with them, but it's definitely hard to watch Halladay struggle day in day out with his stuff. Now he and Halladay stand at a 4+ era with somewhat mediocre stats in the 1st half. What do you expect from them during the 2nd half and why? Should we try to buy Vazquez low, and should I stick with Halladay or trade him? This isn't the quality stuff i expected from 2-4th rounders to be struggle with for this long.

I know Halladay has been a disappointment but Vazquez is anything but. I know he got shelled tonight but he's been the most consistent Yankee starter this season. He's only lost once since May 18th (not counting tonight) and batters are only hitting .233 off him with a 1.15 WHIP. Cut him some slack, even the best get shelled occasionally

I think that Halladay may improve because he has improved in the second half in both of the last two years. I think you have to hold onto him because you probably can't get what he's worth in return. As for Vasquez, he's not having that bad of a season, he just had a bad outing so I don't know how low you could really get him for.

Ya i guess i understand what you guys mean, but with the hype i've heard be4 preseason u would have thought vazquez was a top 5 pitcher like halladay. imo a 4 era doesn't warrant a 2-4 rd pick, although i think now that it was just a bad game.

Coming into 2nite:
Vazquez on pace for:
18-9 178 K's 3.546 ERA 1.151 WHIP
Not too disappointing to me. Drop in K rate was to be expected switching leagues. The ratio and W/L are right in line to what I expected from him.
