So what about moving Mench and and either Delucci or Jordan for a SP right now to help this seasons cause, call up Gonzalez, and have an OF of Teixiera, Nix and Nivar, seasoned with a lil of Dellucci/Jordan, whichever one isnt dealt?
It seems like TEX should make a deal now, while they are in contention, then wait for the offseason.

Who would take Jordan or Fullmer? Delucci maybe, but he wouldnt get much in return. They also will refuse to deal top prospects because they are committed to rebuilding from within (which is very good!). Eric Young is another guy who teams may be interested in, but he would not warrant a very high return at all.
It wouldn't surprise me in the least to see Texas move an OF or two for a solid SP before the trade deadline. We've always had a glut of OF's, but this year seems even more congested and next year won't be much better. I hope they make a deal this year.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
How much more rebuilding from within do they need? I think in 2005 there offense is set with M Young, Blalock, Soriano, Tex and Gonzalez. Thats a devastating 1-5 batting order, followed by Nix, Mench, and Barajas. (A DH would be somewhere, I dont know who) How much young pitching do the Rangers have in the farm? I think they could probably trade some of their farm system hitters since I think they are pretty much set offensively.
