Geez....How pathetic. Here come yet more frivolous lawsuits. Pretty soon ballgames will be played with big plexiglass (sp?) everywhere.

that is just stupid- soon there will be no box seats or 100 levels, everyone will be moved to the upper decks so no one will get and the game will get sold out
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.
He did have his face broken because of the actions (or lack of) of someone else. Actually I think the guy has a case. I've never been to that stadium so I can not comment on the set up. But he got his face broken buying a beer. I would think he has a case vs whoever owns the stadium, though not vs the Vending company.

I completely agree.
I read the softball article and I lean toward the catcher's side. If the collision was avoidable, then he should win the case. It's right there in the league's rules. Now I didn't see the play in question, so I can't give an opinion as to if he's right or not.
