Yes, there is an annual award that the Hall of Fame gives to outstanding announcers called the Frick award, I believe, but Scooter hasn't won it. And I agree, you can't even compare Jeter's offensive production and Scooter's. Jeter blows him away. If he gets to 3000, he deserves to be in the HoF. (this coming from a Met fan ;-)
