Does anyone happen to know why Yahoo is not giving stats directly through the main team page, but this year, you now have to click on the adjacent link in order to view the current days stats for the player on your team? Its starting to irritate the hell out of me having to click on 20 different links in order to see how my players are doing. <img src=/forums/images/smiles/kiss.gif>

Because they want you to pay the $8 for the year to use their StatTracker java applet. That will update stats and standings for all players on all teams in your league in real time. If you like to know what's going on right now, the $8 is well worth it.

Possibly, I just paid for it, because I don't think $8 is that bad for something you will leave running most of the time for 6 months.

same here...and spread across 4 teams, that's only $2 a team for the whole season...at least that's how i rationalize it :-)

which is this adjacent link you speak of?

if they stopped giving you the html daily stats to sell stattracker, thats pretty weak. but hey, i suppose that just everyone else wants you to pay to play in the first place, so its not that egregious an offense.

you can probably find a buck 33 a month in your couch cushions. If they don't make money off of this they will probably start charging for the game and than everyone will be screwed. Remember it is a business.

$8 / 4 teams / 6 months = just over a penny a day. I leave more than that in those give a penny take a penny cups next to the cash register at Circle K daily.
