Leaving out prior, schmidt who are the next 5 pitchers whom u predict to have the best fantasy second halves? in essence, im asking for 3-7 of your list for top pitchers here on out since prior schimdt and are the 1-2 for most ppl.

Randy Johnson
Curt Schilling
Kerry Wood
Javier Vazquez
Johan Santana
and to be honest, I'm not one of the people predicting Prior is going to be off the charts in the second half. I think he's going to be *good* but not top 5.
I'll burn in this forum for that last statement.

R. Johnson
Vasquez
Wood
Hudson
P. Martinez
I just dont see schilling being a top 5 pitcher because of the ankle and its not like the he will have to hold opponents as low as when he was in AZ. Because of the vast difference in run support.

Wood
Hudson
Mulder (As pitchers are always better in the 2nd half, trend will continue)
Johnson
Vazquez

How many threads can we possibly have on this same damn subject?

"Top 5 Starters rest of the way," "Best Starters the rest of the way," the list goes on. It is gettting a bit repetitive. I know we're all lazy, but try the search on this.

pitcher values fluctuate throughout the season so its good to get to know how ppl value pitchers at that current time. Also, by leaving out prior and schmidt, theres more room for ppl to stick in guys you wouldnt normally see mentioned in a top 5 list.

To not hijack your thread too much, I'll give you mine:
(not in order)
Schmidt
RJ
Sheets (I really think he's nearly this good)
Santana
Mulder
Hudson
Halladay
Vazquez
Prior
Schilling
Wood
Although I'm probably missing someone, these IMO are the top 11 from here on out. (and I didn't forget Pedro or Clemens)

I really don't think Prior will be the 2nd best SP the rest of the way. I personally need to see him really pitch a full 8 IP 1 ER 8 K's before I'll believe he's fully back and healthy enough to be considered the 2nd best from here on out. RJ fills that spot for me, especially if he gets traded to a contender= Wins (hopefully to the Yanks).
