I wouldn't call it easy money, but pots are worth more than they should be. Around half the players have no business even being at the table while the other half are sharks looking to cash in. It can get frustrating sometimes since even idiots get lucky once in awhile playing bad hands like 7/2 offsuit. The sharks certainly know how to play.
I play both online, and at casinos, and I'd have to say that casinos are much, much easier to win money at. With everyone having to show their face in person, they tend to do less stupid things which makes everyone pretty predictable. On the internet, people can do dumb things because they can hide behind their screen name.
Amount of money really isn't a big deal. I'll put it this way. It takes a minimum of $50 to open an account at Pokerstars and there is a maximum of a $600 deposit per day. No limits as to what you can cash out and have them send you a check for. I opened my account quite awhile ago, have had them send me a few checks, and still have 10X what I opened my account with sitting in my account there.
