Should I start Dessens against StL or Daal against CLE or TB?
We get
1 pt per out
1 pt per K
-1 pt per hit
-1 pt per BB
-1 pt per ER
+7 pts per win
-3 pts per loss
0 pts for No Decision
I feel like against I can get more use out of Daal since he starts twice. I also am not too sure how good the matchup of Dessens against StL is (I couldn't get around ending with a preposition). Any thoughts?

I wouldn't start Dessens againt St. Louis. The Cards have one of the top offenses in the NL with Pujols, Edmonds, Renteria and Rolen, although the game is at Busch, which is a fairly neutral park.
Daal might have a better chance, since both Cleveland and Tampa are weaker teams, but then again Baltimore is as bad or worse.
Frankly, these are both bad starts and both Dessens and Daal are weak pitchers that I wouldn't want to mess with. Do you not have anyone stronger on your staff that you can start?

Jon Garland, Jimmy Haynes, Rick Reed, Glendon Rusch.
I'll probably go with Daal just for the possibility of two starts.
Thanks!
