one more vote for setting the lineup to the best that it can be and locking it.

redrafting is very unfair. if this is a money league, if he finishes in the money he should not get the prize.

Unless he's last in EVERY category, sitting all his players could change the entire complexion of the standings.

The fairest thing to do would be to populate his lineup with the best possible players and leave it (IMO).

I reccommend locking the roster if Possible. Assuming 100% that this guy quit. I say lock it because he might do something really stupid that ruins the league and that is Drop All his Players, to a lesser extent Bench all his players. He could also try and trade his best players to his friends (if it is a league with friends). All of these suck and I have experianced all of them in leagues I've been in.

I say set the roster with his best players and Lock it.

As to the re-draft, it unbalances the league IMO, because he only has 1 1st rounder, 1 2nd rounder......and I doun't think its fair that 1 team gets a bonus 1st rounder while others get a 8th rounder, which doesn't usually help on a top team. It puts less emphises on the 1st half of the season. Those top teams worked hard for there record.

If its a keeper, throwing all his players back into the pot for next year would work (if you can't find a replacement), just not mid-season.
