CHIPPER JONES in the 2ND HALF

Postby Precise » Tue Jul 13, 2004 7:23 pm

I think he will be an absolute stud in the second half. I'm talking about 260 ab, 50 runs, 15 hr, 50 rbi, .320. any other predictions?

It's possible. Over the last 3 years, he's hit over 340. after the all-star break!

According to John Smoltz, Chipper Jones will be the Braves second half MVP. I believe him!

I wouldn't be too confident in those sort of numbers but he will improve on his 1st half. He has been too consistent for too long to expect anything else. He should be a great buy low candidate, although with 3B eligibility now his stock has not fallen as much as it should have.

True.. his 1st half numbers look pretty terrible. I wouldnt want to have owned him in the first half. I think he'll do about .275 with 10-15 homers after the break.
Got Johan?

Chipper or Miguel Cabrera at third? Who's got a better upside for the second half? Strikeouts count as minus points in my league and Cabrera already has 80+.

On that basis I would definitely prefer Chipper ;-D
