wow, who knew that the Mets forum was so popular.

Just wondering what everyone thinks of Jeff Duncan. You've gotta love his hustle and the stolen bases but that .0667 BA is a bummer.

Will he get called up again? When? Do you think that he will turn it around?

Why or why not :-D

Jeez Mookie, you certainly ain't making things easy for me.... :-b

I doubt Duncan will be called up before August, unless one of the starting outfielders goes on the DL....The Mets seem pretty happy with their outfield situation. (Floyd, Hidalgo, Spencer)

what Mets prospects should I be looking at for my NL keeper league? (I know I shouldn't but I am so loving this :-D

You should definately keep an eye on Aaron Heilman and David Wright! ;-D

Why do you think Heilman is a bust? He's supposed to be their top prospect next to Wright, isn't he?

No, absolutely not. I'd put him below Huber, Wright, Kazmir, Garcia, Diaz, Griffith, Peterson and a host of others. He'll develop into an innings eater if we're lucky. Maybe he'll do well in long relief.

But I don't expect much from him.

Well, I'm not actually in the Mets management. I'm sure they have information that I'm not privy to. But judging from what I've seen (very little), I would not rank him to be one of our top prospects. But that's just one guy's opinion. He could be the second coming of Pedro for all I know. I just doubt it. I don't think that he'll live up to his initial promise.

Of course, he'd be the top guy in the Yankees minor league system, so he's not bad. He's just not good enough to be near the top in the Mets system.
